Aims and objectives of SEN team

  • Identify child’s skills and areas of need through observation, assessment and discussion with relevant others.
  • Facilitate the child’s learning by adapting the teaching material, making syllabus content more accessible and encouraging their involvement in the learning process.
  • Ensure that ongoing observations are made to monitor child’s progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents through discussion and annual reports.
  • Support the child with their class work in a range of settings including whole class, groups and 1:1 as necessary.
  • Work alongside teachers and teaching assistants, teaching them strategies that they can carry over from work begun by Learning Support Assistants.

 

Verse of the day

" The people of Moses made, in his absence, out of their ornaments, the body of a calf, (for worship): having lowing sound: did they not see that it could neither speak to them, nor show them the Way? They took it for worship and they did wrong. 7:148 "

Hadith of the day

One who recites ten verses (ayat) of the Quran every night will not be counted amongst the negligent ones (Ghafilin); and one who recites fifty verses (ayat) will be written as those who remember Allah (Dhakirin); and one who recites one hundred verses (ayat) will be written down as the obedient and worshipper of Allah (Qanitin).
